Hiding Local Drives in your computer

Note: This  Trick should be tried only if you have a basic knowledge of Registry Editor Otherwise STOP RIGHT HERE...



 PROCEDURE


1.)- Click ON START and select the option RUN.

2.)- Type Regedit. The Registry Editor Window opens.


3.)- Navigate to the key:


   
 HKEY_CURRENT_USER\  SOFTWARE\ MICROSOFT\ WINDOWS\ CURRENTVERSION\ POLICIES\ EXPLORER


 4.)- Now after this, in the Right Pane window, Create a  NEW DWORD Item


 5.)- RENAME it to NoDrives,  and MODIFY Its VALUE and set it to:

3FFFFFF


6.)- Now press F5 to refresh the Editor and RESTART the system.


After Restarting When you open your MY COMPUTER, you won't find your drives there.!

They are simply gone, Ain't they..?  

But don't worry here is the note.

 NOTE: TO simply ENABLE back the Drives just DELETE the DWORD ITEM
 NoDrives
 using the same procedure as mentioned above
